CV TIPS
BE CONSISTENT - the CV will be your first impression, as a designer we organize information, make sense of things and most importantly pay attention to detail so don't be sloppy!
CONTACT - include your name, website portfolio, email and phone number, they are key contact information
IT IS OKAY TO BRAG - show your rewards and recognition (galleries, features, awards etc) it works especially in your favour if they're outside of education
HIGHLIGHT YOUR SPECIALITIES - show your speciality's whether it be software such as Adobe programs, or hardware for example wood cutting, laser cutting, print etc
PERSONAL INTERESTS - this is entirely optional, but adding interests adds a bit of personality to your CV which can often grab the attention a bit more
DON'T -
Don't put an objective statement example as simple as "I want to get a job" (Customize objective for the job if so, point out your goal with the job, make it brief, it makes your CV distinct)
Go overboard, try to keep your work professional rather than what would essentially be an infographic
